This week I visited the Stockholm Furniture Fair, which is the world’s biggest place for Nordic design. I found lots of great pieces I’d like to use in my interior projects and, of course, I took loads of pictures. Below is a small sampling of what inspired me.Piña chair by Jaime Hayon for Magis
Designed by Jaime Hayón for Magis, the Piña chair steel rod seat creates the visual effects of a pineapple peel (hence the name piña). I like how the two cushions make the seat comfortable while still showing the tufted-like metallic structure.

Hay About a chair and table Hee WellingHay Copenhagen presented the elegant About a chair by Hee Welling, a chair that works just as well around a dining table as in an office. It is showed here with a swivel base, next to the matching About a table. The pink upholstery is so lovely!

Crane Benjamin Hubert for ÖrsjöIndustrial-looking design for ‘Crane’, an architectural and adjustable LED task light for Swedish manufacturer Örsjö, designed by Benjamin Hubert.

Loop by Johan Verde for ForaformLoop is an eye-catcher armchair with its bold bright orange color and organic shapes. Designed by Johan Verde for Norwegian Fora Form, the foot integrates a rolling fonction making it highly mobile.

&tradition Copenhagen HoofThe Danish brand &tradition presented Hoof table with legs sharpened as pencils. The left picture shows the Mass ceiling light with a marble base and behind are Spinning lights with their glossy black exterior finish.

Elitis 3D wallcoveringOne of my big favorites at the Fair: Élitis gorgeous 3D wallcovering made of jersey hot pressed onto foam. Very easy to hang I was told, plus it absorbs sounds. (and yes, it’s French).

Larsson United Nest light
Nice discovery on the small stand of Larsson United: the Nest lights designed by Catarina Larsson. The light is softly glowing through the paper twines which look like little feathers at the extremities.

Mama Look Anna Kraitz KallemoI just fall in love with this piece every time I see it: Mama Look by Anna Kraitz for Källemo is a sofa that is simple but with a tiny detail that makes all the difference: a leather belt strapped around the backrest. So ‘couture’!

Gubi Pedrera light
Pedrera floor lamp was originally designed in 1955 by Barba Corsini. It was re-edited by Jq. Ruiz Millet in 1991, completed by the H20 table lamp and it has now been reintroduced by manufacturer Gubi. The perforated shade is graphic and diffuses light beautifully.
